Throw A Sex and the City Release Party

What's more fabulous than the upcoming October 26th release of Sex and the City 2? Throwing your own Sex and the City 2 release party! There's no better way to have a girls night in and bond with your girlfriends but to share it with Carrie and the girls. Here are a few ideas that will help give your living room the ambiance and flair of a New York City girls night on the town.

1.  The most fun thing about a themed party is dressing up!  And everyone knows these girls are all about fashion to the max!  You can have a general fashion night, or get a little wilder and make it more specific:

• Dress the part - Challenge your guests to dress up as their favorite character.  Whether it's fashion forward Carrie, seductress Samantha, pretty in pink Charlotte, or business class Miranda, there is a chance for all of your guests to show their inner Sex and the City off!
• Uber fashion - Have all of your ladies dress as high fashion as they can!  Think runway and make it bold!
• 80's Couture - If there is one thing the ladies love more than this seasons Manolo Blahnik's, it's their back of the closet 80's gear!  So dig to the back of your closet and have an all night 80's moment.
  

2. Can't forget the Cosmos! The most important accessory of any chic city girl is her drink. Carrie and Co. choose Cosmopolitans! They are tasty, pink, and come in classy glassware. And you don't have to be a bartender at the trendiest club in Manhattan to make them!

3. Get to know your girls. While you're sipping your Cosmos and enjoying each others company, start talking sex! Play games to get insight on what's going on inside your relationships, social life, and inside the bedroom!

• "Never have I ever..." - One person starts out by saying "Never have I ever..." and then lists something that they have never done. Find out who is guilty of something that person has never done by requiring the ladies to take a sip of their Cosmos if they have!
• Best/Worst - Go around a circle and have each girl explain her best relationship story, followed by her worst!  It's a good way to feel super close to your gal pals!
  

4.  Finally, and most importantly, to have a Sex and the City release party you need the movie!  But you don't have to stop there!  This can be a weekly or monthly get together with the girls!  No one gets tired of watching vintage episodes with all of our favorite ex's, from Trey to Petrovsky!  Simply buy or rent the seasons on DVD and you can have your Sex anytime you want it.
